Baale Mane is a long-term home for over 50 vulnerable girls ages 7 – 21 in a village outside Bangalore. Many of the girls are orphans or have been rescued from child labor, domestic violence, living on the streets, or dangerous family situations. Baale Mane provides a safe and loving environment for the girls, enrolling them in local schools. Baale Mane emphasizes the whole child. The girls are instructed in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and are given lessons on their emotional, physical, and sexual health.
Your generosity funds a summer intensive English language program so that the girls can have better success at the English-medium schools they attend. You also provide scholarships for the girls to attend high-quality schools, helping to ensure they can reach their dreams of higher education or job training.
